Game Under Episode 41

It's all Indy this week with Double Dragon Neon having recently been released to PC, as well as both of our impressions of Gone Home and Dear Esther. I also give my first impressions of Guacamelee.

Thanks for listening,

Phil

Tom Towers Reads In January

In the first instalment of what may be a quickly abandoned series, Tom Towers reads things, and then writes things about the things he read. He then reads the things he wrote to complete the absurdity of the whole affair, and finally posts them here because who else but his groupie would indulge him so? He may be humoured here.

Game Under Episode 40

Tom explains Female Aerial Skiing to me, though sadly it is not as exciting as I thought.

We also go on a divergent review of Resistance 3 (and get into everything about gaming and writing). Finally we get Tom's impression of Grand Theft Auto V.

And for those of you who think this is too short of a show for a BIG SHOW, tweet me and I'll give you a full refund. [Until then, check it out, sports fans.-Tom]

Game Under Episode 39

Without a voice, or an internet Phil Fogg has been in the gaming wilderness for a week, so he puts his tiny hand in that of fatherly Tom Towers and gets caught up on the week's news in gaming.

Also, impressions of Modern Warfare 3 and Resistance 2. But in a good way.

And now, here is a picture taken during the recording.

Tom Reviews Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance

"I love Metal Gear Solid 2. I loved Raiden in Metal Gear Solid 2. Not only was he a great change of pace from Snake, he was also a great mix of melodrama and comedy. As amusing as Snake’s smoking and pornographic browsing was, it couldn’t quite compare to a naked Raiden desperately trying to protect his modesty in the face of mortal danger." - Writes Tom Towers. Does his love affair continue with Revengeance? Read on to find out!

Tom Towers, 2013 Retrospective 2

GOTY podcast coming soon! Probably, maybe, perhaps...hopefully.

Phil Fogg, my venerable co-host, kindly posted a 2013 retrospective of my, Tom Towers, reviews.

Unfortunately he not only listened the wrong Book of Unwritten Tales but also included a review or two from 2012.

Here is the updated list, including all reviews written in 2013, including those not relevant to head hunters (I like my scalp).

Tom Towers additions and amendments:

Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory

Journey of a Roach

Tomb Raider

Antichamber (I think we know why he left that one of the list!)

The Book of Unwritten Tales: The Critter Chronicles

Torn Curtain

Fallout: Lanius

Phil's list minus the erroneous inclusions:

Steamworld Dig

WWE2k14

Enslaved

Goodbye Deponia

Dragon’s Crown Review

The Raven Review

Zeno Clash II Review

Leisure Suit Larry: Reloaded Review

Deadly Premonition Review
